Village Council
The Village of Acme is governed by a Mayor and four Councillors. Meetings are held in Council Chambers at 203 Clarke Street twice a month on the second and fourth Monday at 6 pm. If the Monday lands on a statutory holiday, the meeting is held on the following day, Tuesday. All Council meetings are open to the public. If you wish to be added to the Agenda to meet with Council, you must make an appointment through the Village Office.
Elections are held every four years in October.

VILLAGE OF ACME VOTES
Nomination period for the 2021 Municipal Election opens January 1st, 2021.
The Village of Acme’s next election will be on Monday October 18th, 2021. Prospective candidates can file their nomination papers between January 1st and September 20th at the Village Office. In previous municipal elections, there was a single day when candidates could submit nomination paperwork. For this election, due to the change in the Local Authorities Election Act, a nine month period has been implemented.

*Nominations can be dropped off to the returning officer, CAO Gary Sawatzky, at the Village Office during regular office hours starting on January 4th, 2021.
