Ball Diamonds

There are two ball diamonds in Acme behind the Skating rink and the Curling rink, and one behind the Acme School.  The diamonds now have a new Concession booth and new backstops.

Soccer Field

There is a soccer field behind the Acme School.

Walking Path

The Village of Acme has a walking path that links Heritage Estates to Cross Street and Walsh Avenue.  This path is situated on the north side of the Village and is used by the residents daily.

Beach Volleyball

Acme has a beach volleyball pit directly behind the Acme Swimming Pool.  There is a pit with beautiful sand, a net and it is free to use.

Parks

There are many parks and playgrounds in Acme, great spaces for families to play. Our playgrounds are located at:  the Acme Swimming Pool, the west side of Heritage Estates, the Acme School and on the north side of the school.

We have parks and green spaces in Acme as well.  ‘Rose Park’ is located at the north end of Walsh Avenue, Frank Fooks Memorial Park is the campground, but it is a very large treed green space as well, for relaxing in the shade on a hot afternoon.  There is also a green space on Prospect Avenue.  This was the ‘tire park’ but has been transformed into a green space.
